Isabel’s senior session was extra special. Not only because I have watched Isabel grow into such a beautiful young lady, but also because of my relationship with her Mom, Leia. Leia and I became friends many years ago after we met at church. Soon after, she started assisting me during my sessions. She has been such an asset to my business + makes my job so much easier with all of her help.
When we started planning her daughter’s senior session, we knew it had to be extra special. So, why not do a destination session in a nearby city? Isabel loves to read, so I did some research and found that Baltimore has the George Peabody Library. It is used for local students, but within a few minutes, we were able to capture some amazing images of both Isabel + the library, without disturbing a soul. Plus, the area where it is located gave me all kinds of European feels.
After our library visit, we headed over to the Hampden area to Atomic Books. I loved Isabel’s cozy Harry Potter themed look for this portion of her session. We tried not to disturb any shoppers, but were so thankful they allowed us to shoot there.
Our final location in the city, was a last minute find while I was searching travel blogs on our way to Baltimore. We definitely had to squeeze in the Baltimore Streetcar Museum since Leia’s family has history in the transportation industry. The staff was so welcoming and even pulled out a beautiful wooden trolley just for us, even though they were closing.
The last set of photos were taken locally in Delaware. Isabel loves this car and we were blessed to find someone local that had one for us to use. The older couple that owned the car, were the absolute sweetest and made Isabel’s day!
Thank you, Isabel + Leia, for trusting me with planning a session that truly shows your true beauty from the inside out. Love you both so much!
