I met Valarie about 5 years ago at work. She was about to begin her first year as our school psychologist + I was about to start my first year as a school counselor. Since we were both newbies, we started off with that bond right away. I remember seeing her smile for the first time + thinking that we had to be friends. Valarie has one of those sweet, gentle spirit which always makes me feel at home whenever I’m around her. As a psychologist + counselor, most of the time we would spend together would be talking about how to help our students, but every once in a while we would take a moment to talk about life. On one of those days, I remember her eyes lighting up when she mentioned that she had met David. The best part of David + Valarie’s relationship was that they started out as friends + it soon turned into love. I believe those kinds of relationships end up with the best kinds of marriages. After David proposed, Valarie asked me right away if I would be willing to capture their engagement photos. Of course, I was more than excited to get these two in front of my camera. They were the absolute cutest during their session. The way David looked at Valarie + would take her in his arms + whisper in her ear, was what every affectionate, romantic female for in a partner. Couple goals all the way. I even told David during + after the session that if I could have him along for all of my engagement sessions, it would make my job so much easier. I loved the fact that all I had to do was to tell him to wrap his arms around Valarie + it was magic. We spent so much of our time laughing + enjoying our time together that the hour just flew by. Thank you, David + Valarie, of giving me the honor of capture your beautiful relationship + giving me all the romantic feels.
